Mrs. Boyce's 4th Grade
Classroom Information
Red Take Home Folder
Students should take their folder in their book bag to and from school every day. Each day I have the students put their homework, any corrected work, and any office notes inside their folder. Please have your students put their homework back in their folder and their folder back in their backpack upon completion.
Agendas
Behavior
Students are expected to behave like fourth graders at all times. Fourth grade students should be role models for younger students at our school. Students who exhibit exemplary behavior will be rewarded with Eagle Eye tickets, homework passes, or other options the teacher deems appropriate. Students who exhibit appropriate behavior and turn in all work will be allowed to participate in Fun Friday. Fun Friday is a privilege. If a student is not acting like a fourth grader, consequences may be issued on a case by case basis. Consequences may include a phone call home, missing fun Friday, or an office referral.
Snack
We do not have snack milk in fourth grade but snack is an important part of our day. Snacks help students refuel mentally and physically as they are learning. Please send snacks that are healthy for body and teeth. Examples of great snacks are fruits, vegetables, granola bars, yogurt, etc.
Birthdays
Every day students are required to write their homework assignments and other important information in their agenda. Students must bring their agenda to and from school each day. When homework is completed, please sign your child's agenda. Agendas are also a great place to leave me notes as I check their agendas daily.
Grading
4-Consistently exceeds grade level expectations
3-Meets/meeting grade level expectations
2-Still developing, but not yet at grade level
1-Frequent support is needed
